Notjustok TV: “Wizkid & I Didn’t Sign w/ Sony To Compete With Ourselves” – Davido
The Son of Mercy, Davido chopped it up with the Notjustok TV crew at the exclusive “Gbagbe Oshi” Video Premiere on October 1 in Lagos. In this interview, Davido talks about his new EP “Son of Mercy“, why he considers 2016 a “rest year”, missing out on awards this year, his DMW acts, Dremo and Mayorkun.
Davido also goes ahead to confirm Wizkid‘s deal with Sony Music adding that they both chose Sony over Universal ‘cos Sony had a “better package” (as we revealed earlier here on NJO) and a clearer vision. Davido goes ahead to say he and Wizkid did not sign to compete with themselves.
