1. Aramide

Aramide dropped her album – “Suitcase” very recently and apart from the fact that it’s buzzing at the moment, that body of work is AMAZING!

“Love Me” featuring Adekunle Gold is still one of the best songs released by a female artist this year and talking of her latest buzz single – “Funmi Lowo”, that’s a HIT!

With several Awards won and nominations gotten, she has shown a lot of consistency over the past couple of years and missed out on the list by whiskers. We hope Aramide brings more of the 2016b vibe into 2017 and much more.

2. Cynthia Morgan

The German Juice manufacturer – Cynthia Morgan may have missed out on #TheList2016 but it doesn’t take anything away from the work she put in all year round. The Northside Inc. artist recently collaborated with BET Winner – Stonebwoy on the tune “Bubble Bup” and the streets are loving it. Not forgetting her amazing effort on one of my favourite tunes of 2016 – “Olowo”.

She is also one of the few Nigerian artists repping Naija at the Coke Studio Africa this year and that’s a major, major one for her.

Here’s hoping Cynthia Morgan comes through yet again with the juice in 2017 as always.
