Moses Oghenare Iribevbe, is a full fledged Deltan who spent his formative years in South-Western Nigeria, but happens to straddle in his daily grind, the reality of being a Niger-Deltan bred on Yoruba soil, with the many merits that his multicultural socialization affords the evolution of his personality.
His stage name, ARREL is a derivation from his middle name, Ogheneare, and echoes its shortened form (Are), as his folks at home, school, the streets, and his spots of hustle, call him. Along with the pseudonym ARREL, there is an attaché appellation that floats with his vibe and brand – ‘Wonder Boy’.
Cool-as-ice and down-to-earth ARREL the Wonder Boy, is a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University. He is in his mid-20s, and has been building a momentum behind the scenes to introduce his craft to the Nigerian music industry. Riding on the crest of a new sound and style, and a very energetic crew at his disposal, ARREL just dropped a sizzling hot single titled ‘GIRLS THEM’, produced by the effervescent SPOTLESS, and modeled to the generic style ARREL wants to tow – Afro dancehall.
As the only son amongst a sound number of siblings, soft-spoken ARREL knows no hobby more than hardwork, and looks to the heavens for his daily grind to yield bread and good liquid to wine it. If you’ve not listened to this new wonder hook beautiful people of the world, it’s as if una never hear say na Donald Trump win that election! ‘GIRLS THEM’ falls in the realm of a song and sound that is refreshingly different from the norm we are used to, and rolls in the ears on very mature beats and calm lyrics.
ARREL’s ‘GIRLS THEM’ is as crisp and smooth as aso-ebi wey dem never wear before. Be the first to have a go at it. You’ll be so nodding your head, we bet you’ll be echoing ARREL’s signature statement – “Oluwa lo ni Wonder!”.
