Nigerian artistes, Mr Eazi and Timi Dakolo have been appointed by the Federal Government as goodwill ambassadors for the #TobaccoFreeNigeria and #ClearTheAir campaign which is meant to create awareness about the dangers of Tobacco.
The announcement was made on Tuesday the 13th of June 2017 on the twitter handle of the Federal Ministry of Health.
Together with Timi Dakolo and Mr Eazi is a legal practitioner and outgoing Curator of the Abuja Global Shapers Hub, Saadatu Hamu Aliyu. The aim of this appointment is to raise awareness of the burdens and dangers of tobacco use in Nigeria and these individuals, with the influence they have, will certainly push that purpose.
