Nigerian citizens and rising stars, Omah Lay and Tems who were arrested on Sunday, 13th of December 2020 after performing at a show in Uganda have returned to their home country, Nigeria including Tems' manager who was also picked up
Omah Lay, Tems and her manager arrived Nigeria via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35pm, local time on Thursday the 17th of December 2020. Nigerian politician and former Chair of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs, Abike Dabiri-Arewa made the announcement of their arrival via her social media page. She tweeted:
Stanley Omah Didia (Omah Lay), Temilade Openiyi (Tems), Muyiwa Ayoniyi and others just landed at MMIA Lagos from Uganda via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35pm, local time. We are glad they are finally home.

Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and charged to court for acts that are likely to cause the spread of infectious disease Covid-19. However, the officials of the Nigerian mission in Uganda and some influential few, ensured the immediate release of Omah Lay, Tems and her manager, Muyiwa through a court order signed by the Ugandan magistrate court.
