Manchester United and Marcus Rashford will have a meeting this evening, Tuesday, July 27th, 2021, to decide on the possibility of having surgery on his shoulder. The England international sustained the injury in November 2020, he has since been playing with painkillers for the past six months. According to a scan report that was done on Rashford, early this year, the result stated that there is no possibility the injury will be severe.
United District, a news outlet that covers every news that concerns Manchester United confirmed on their official Twitter account saying,
Marcus Rashford will hold talks with Manchester United on Tuesday before whether to go ahead with his shoulder surgery that will keep him out of action for up to three months. Rashford is strongly in favour of having the operation.

Manchester United board of directors was hoping the extra days of rest will ease off the injury for the striker but that has not been the situation. If both parties decide that the best option is to have the surgery, Rashford might be out for 3 months.
Rashford was key for Manchester United in the 2020/21 season, netting 21 goals and 15 assists for the Red Devils.
