Something as mind blowing as the #HalleluyahChallenge can certainly not pass CNN by, it is not even passing the world by, hence they had to speak to the initiator, Nigerian gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey who explained his reason for such a movement, saying; “I had a sense which is the leading of the spirit to praise God the whole of this month,”, which is the month of June.
The gospel artiste also went further to state that; “Against the backdrop of the challenges in the world today especially in our nation, with the scourge of terrorism and the recession … it has brought a sense of hope and respite. It is a reflection of the desire and hunger for answers and for hope,”
The challenge which started on the 1st of June with less than 20k worshipers is on its way to 100k worshipers with yesterday, which was the day 14 having the presence of over 70k worshipers who streamed Live on Instagram to participate including personalities such as Don Jazzy, KCee, Patoranking, D’Banj and many more. This is aside the hundreds of worshipers on Facebook who also stream live and worship #Olowogbogboro and of course the testimonies are flowing in.
